One Life Philippines is all about having special experiences with a group of guys and girls who want excitement. The Philippines has some of the best beaches and most beautiful islands in the world. The people are very friendly, and the culture is fascinating. We’ll show you the best parts of the Palawan islands, which haven’t been visited much by tourists. You’ll explore jungles and cities, see the Puerto Princesa Underground River, watch the sunrise from a private beach camp, travel between islands on a private boat, pick coconuts for yourself, snorkel among the starfish, and much more!
Itinerary
Begin your journey in Manila and finish in Puerto Princesa! With the Active Adventure tour called Philippines One Life Adventures – 10 Days, you get a 10-day trip that takes you through Manila, Philippines, and four other places in the Philippines. This tour package includes staying in hotels and hostels, flights, a knowledgeable guide, meals, transportation, and more.
Day 1 Manila
You can arrive anytime on the first day, and your guide will be waiting for you at the airport. Then, you’ll travel through the busy streets of one of Asia’s busiest cities to reach your accommodation.
After settling in, you’ll meet the rest of the group! If you arrive earlier in the day, you can spend some time exploring the city and doing some last-minute shopping. In the evening, we’ll have dinner and drinks together to get to know each other as part of the One Life family.
Day 2 Puerto Princesa
Get ready for Palawan! Today, we hop on a quick flight to the southern part of the Palawan Islands. After checking into our guest house, we’ll visit the Iwahig Prison.
It’s a unique place without walls where inmates are in charge, and they even have their own mayor! We’ll meet some inmates, chat with them, and listen to their stories. Later, we can relax by the pool, enjoy 2 for 1 cocktails, and then have a tasty traditional Filipino meal together.
Day 3 Underground River & Port Barton
After a fast breakfast, we go to the well-known Underground River. We ride a boat through the amazing underground river system. In the afternoon, we travel from Puerto Princesa to the beautiful fishing village of Port Barton.
You’ll feel like you’re in paradise, and it only gets better from there! Spend your evening relaxing with fresh coconuts on white sandy beaches, listening to island reggae in the background. The accommodation here is simple but comfy, right by the beach.
Day 4 and 5 – Island camping with the locals
Hop on our special One Life boat for some island hopping, ending at our own tropical island beach camp. It’s not just any camp; we made it just for you, with hammocks, volleyball nets, and even a treehouse! Hidden away on a quiet beach, the camp has everything we need.
Swim with turtles, explore the island, or join our beach games with a few cold beers. This is your chance to really live the island life. Our boat lets us explore nearby islands and see how the local communities live. In the evening, we gather around a fire at our makeshift beach “bar” to watch the amazing sunset this area is known for.
Awesome, right? For the adventurous types, on the second day, we’ll visit a secret rainforest waterfall for a refreshing swim to wash off all the sand and salt. And don’t worry about food; our guides will catch fish while we explore and cook up delicious meals for us! If conditions are good, we might even visit a small school on a nearby island to meet the kids and learn about life in remote Philippines areas.\
Day 6 Bound for El Nido
In the morning, we all hop on a bus and head to El Nido! When we get there, you’ll see why Palawan is called the most beautiful group of islands in the world. El Nido is like a hidden paradise surrounded by islands and cliffs, and we’re lucky to experience it.
After you’ve picked your jaw up from the stunning views, we’ll check into the coolest hostel in Palawan. It’s unique to One Life and looks more like a fancy hotel than a typical backpacker spot! Get settled in, then in the evening, we’ll head out to one of our favorite beach bars for food and fun.
Day 7 Cultural experiences and zip line at Las Cabanas
Get ready to dive into the special Filipino culture! We’ll take a short hike through the jungle to discover the plants and animals that live in the lush rainforest. Then, we’ll reach our exclusive jungle hut for a day packed with fun.
Today, we’ll do all sorts of things like cooking traditional Filipino food, climbing coconut trees, trying out Filipino stick fighting, shaving coconuts, learning Filipino dances and games, weaving with coconut leaves, and more.
After that, you can choose to zip-line and then unwind at the beautiful Las Cabanas Beach. It’s a thrilling adventure where you’ll fly between two islands over the ocean, followed by a relaxing day you won’t forget!
Day 8 Island Hopping
Today is all about experiencing what makes El Nido famous – island hopping! We’ll sail out to enjoy the beautiful emerald waters, snorkel around amazing reefs, and keep an eye out for unique wildlife. On board, we’ll have music, chill-out spots, and a delicious buffet with the best seafood.
Before we head back to El Nido, take some photos of yourself doing a backflip off the boat with the sunset in the background, or simply relax on deck and listen to the music. It’s a chance to enjoy one of those “life is good” moments with your One Life family.
Day 9 El Nido town!
In the morning, we hike up to the top of one of the cliffs around El Nido bay to see the amazing views! After the hike, we think you’ll need some time to relax. So, we’ll treat you to a super relaxing full body massage to soothe those tired muscles. Today, take it easy and enjoy your surroundings, or go explore nearby. You can ask your guide for the best places to visit, or find them on your own!
Day 10 Good Bye!
Unfortunately, good things don’t last forever! You can catch a flight back to Manila from a small airport in El Nido. It might cost a bit more, but it saves you from having to travel back to Puerto Princesa for your flight. You can book your flight on the Air Swift website.
However, if you’re heading to Puerto Princesa, keep in mind that the journey from our last place to the Puerto Princesa airport will take about 5.5 hours. To make sure you catch your flight on time, we suggest booking a flight from Puerto Princesa after 3 PM.
We’re an adventure tour company that includes more in our itinerary than any other company. We’re dedicated to showing our guests the most beautiful and untouched parts of Palawan. Sometimes, the facilities in these remote areas might be limited or basic, like in Port Barton. But, take it in stride as part of the adventure!
